All our furniture is traditionally constructed with dowelled, mortise and tenon joints to ensure longevity.

All teak used in our furniture comes from government controlled plantations. It  is one of the most naturally durable of hardwoods.  It will last for decades, needs no preservative and weathers gracefully to grey.

All eucalyptus used in our furniture comes from managed forests independently certified in accordance with the rules of the Forest Stewardship Council.  It is an excellent hardwood for use in outdoor furniture.  It has a dense, straight grain with a smooth finish.  Untreated it is a pale honey colour with rose highlights which will fade over time.  To enhance and maintain the appearance we recommend the furniture is treated with a light oak stain at the time of ordering.
